Reach Out and Read Program – At our office we are beginning to incorporate the values of this great non-profit organization that promotes the importance of reading to children. We begin by showing parents/guardians how to start the reading process in the exam room so that they feel confident integrating books into their children’s lives. This is a program where we encourage our parents to read to their children and explain the importance of reading consistently. Our providers will provide each child aged 6 months to 5 years old with a book at each child preventative exam. http://www.reachoutandread.org/
