Elvin Yonker, MD FAAFP

Dr. Yonker was born in Haiti and grew up in New York. He graduated from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. Dr. Yonker completed his residency in Family Medicine at Underwood Memorial Hospital in Woodbury where he served as co-chief resident with Dr. Wu. Having practiced family medicine for more than 10 years Dr. Yonker was recently elected by his peers as the Chief of the Department of Family Medicine at Underwood-Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests lie in orthopedics, pediatrics, and adult medicine.  Dr. Yonker fluently speaks three languages; English, French and Creole.
